CMAT closed the ‘Euro-Country Tour’ at Le Trianon, Paris – Review
There is a specific kind of magic that happens when an artist returns to the place where their songs were born. For CMAT (Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson), that place is Paris. Taking the stage at the historic Le Trianon on April 2nd, the Irish pop icon didn’t just deliver a show, she hosted a homecoming that felt like a chaotic, beautiful, and deeply personal exchange between an artist and her "second home." Early in the set, CMAT opened up about her deep connection to the city

Eileen Alister Live at Razzmatazz, Barcelona - Photo Gallery
Part of her Honeymoon in a Motel tour, Eileen Alister’s Barcelona stop felt intimate in a way that doesn’t usually happen at this scale. The room locked in early and stayed there, no big theatrics or distractions. Just her presence carrying the set from start to finish. Her sound lives in contrast: soft, then sharp, with emotional, sometimes heavy lyrics about love and growing up, cut through with a clean pop edge that keeps everything moving. It never drags, never overreac

Laufey brings a night of Jazz to London, live at the O2 - Review
Laufey turned The O2 Arena into her own jazz club on the 9th March 2026; her second sold out night at The O2 as part of her A Matter Of Time tour. The tour was filled to the brim with dancing, bunny ears, and felt crowns, and was dubbed “the most laid back big gig” some of the attendees had “ever been to” (- Chloe Green, attendee). This laid back vibe started with Alice Phoebe Lou as Laufey’s opener. With a set full of upbeat songs and lyrics to get the crowd waving their

Asha Banks closes European Tour with an electric night, live at The Roundhouse - Review
There’s something special about witnessing an artist step into their biggest moment yet. And that’s exactly what we got to see on Sunday evening as Asha Banks took the stage at The Roundhouse for her largest headline show to date.

‘Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally’, by Harry Styles - Album Review
‘Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally’, the singer’s fourth and latest album, is proof of what happens when an artist is finally sure of their craft and creativity. Eclectic at its core, this is an album that feels both nonchalant and intentional in equal measure.

‘why do i get out of bed?’ by Emilia Tarrant - Album Review
On her debut album ‘why do i get out of bed?’ London-based singer-songwriter Emilia Tarrant turns inward, tracing the emotions that shape her daily life. The statement reflects the record’s confessional core, showcasing Tarrant’s strength as a storyteller as she transforms day-to-day struggles with mental health, relationships, and friendships into intimate, pop-infused narratives. The record preserves the raw honesty that has defines her work.

Liv Bloore - Nostalgia, introspection and healing
‘Her Flowers’, the hauntingly beautiful song by singer-songwriter Liv Bloore was released today and we can’t get enough. The deeply melancholic indie tune carries metaphors of love and loss, blending nostalgia and self assurance. The musician explored the beauty of girlhood mixed with the fragility in relationships through soft vocals and introspective lyrics and we were lucky to have Liv explain more of her inspiration for this song.

Miles Kane brings the sunlight to the Roundhouse - Review
Indie rocker Miles Kane brought his sixth studio album 'Sunlight In The Shadows', released in October 2025, to North London’s Roundhouse on January 30th 2026. The English musician, best known as the co-frontman of The Last Shadow Puppets alongside Arctic Monkeys‘ Alex Turner, commanded the stage, holding the audience in the palm of his hand throughout the night. Kane clearly knows how to put on a show and his performance at the Roundhouse once again proved exactly that.

Astruso: the Italian artist turning vulnerability into sound
There’s something quietly magnetic about Astruso — the solo project of Giuseppe, a Sardinian artist born in 1999, whose music captures the delicate balance between fragility and strength. His songs feel like late-night confessions whispered through layers of intimate vocals and shimmering guitars, each one carrying the weight of emotions that are too complex for words alone. The name Astruso, which means “complicated” or “hard to understand” in Italian, was one Giuseppe chose

Claudia Allmang - Lesbian Pop, But Make It Intimate
The Barcelona singer turning queer feelings, raw emotion, and real-life contradictions into bold, atmospheric soundtracks for anyone living life a little too intensely. Barcelona-based artist Claudia Allmang describes her music in the simplest, sharpest terms: “I make lesbian music.” But behind that playful declaration sits a universe of contrasts —softness and seduction, euphoria and pain, politics and instinct all colliding inside her sound. For Claudia, intimacy doesn’t

Arthur Hill - An incredible atmosphere and lots of Dad dancing, live at Chalk, Brighton
On the 25th of November 2025, over halfway through his Stella Artour (yes named after the drink), Arthur Hill lit up Chalk Venue in Brighton with his incredible set and lots of ‘Dad dancing’. Opening for Hill was Benjamin Steer, along with his guitarist Luke and drummer Marco. Steer’s “2nd time in Brighton” was not one to forget, with his fantastic set and music style that one could describe as being a combination between Alec Benjamin and Shawn Mendes. Self-describing his mu

Alessi Rose Struts All the Way to Brighton on UK Tour - Review
From the release of the much-awaited EP ‘Voyeur’ to two high-profile opening slots for Tate McRae and Dua Lipa and a current EU/UK tour, 2025 has certainly been a rose-tinted year for singer-songwriter Alessi Rose. Whilst her upward trajectory is easily chartered online by means of a deeply dedicated fanbase, seeing it live as Rose took the stage at Brighton Dome for her first ever Brighton show made it all the more electrifying. The crowd arrived decked in the ‘Voyeur’ theme

In the Clouds with Sunday (1994) at EartH Theatre - Review
“This is my favourite show, I’m having so much fun,” Sunday (1994)’s lead vocalist Paige Turner announced mid-set, as she moved towards the her bandmate, guitarist Lee Newell. It’s hard to fathom that the LA-based dream-pop group’s first single only came out last year, judging by the size and devotion of the crowd that filled EartH Theatre on Thursday night. Fresh off a very successful run of European dates and a summer on the UK festival circuit, the band returned to London

Welcome to Searows’ Fall - Searows at Hoxton Hall - 21st October
Small venues make everything feel more intimate, and as the blue-tinted lights of Hoxton Hall flooded the room, you could feel the excitement in the air as the crowd waited patiently for Oregon native Alec Duckart, also known as Searows, to take the stage. To warm up the chilly air, Hetta Falzon lulled the audience with a beautiful marriage of pop and jazz, singing about not fitting in, comparing oneself to peers, and struggling with anxiety. It was the perfect start to the

The Library is Open: How the Diss Track Became a Predominant Feature in Pop Music
The digital world stopped in its tracks when Taylor Swift dropped the razor-sharp ‘Actually Romantic’, seemingly aimed at her contemporary Charli XCX. From lyric dissections to think pieces arguing it missed the mark, the track sparks a timely question: how did the diss track become such a defining feature of pop? And do we secretly need a little gossip to make it through the mundane? Full feature at the link in bio.

The Price of Being Human: How Young Women in Music Are Punished for Needing Rest
When Lola Young collapsed onstage last month, the reaction online told its own story. Beneath the polite messages wishing her well was an undercurrent of anger: people frustrated at only getting half a show, worrying about future cancellations, and even criticising her for needing a break. Why do we lash out when a concert is cancelled? And why do we blame performers, particularly young women, for health conditions they largely cannot control?

Rachel Chinouriri, The Last Dinner Party, Doechii: The Best of All Things Go 2025

‘No Hard Feelings’ by The Beaches — Love, Loss & Friendship - Album Review
The Toronto-based four-piece — Jordan and Kylie Miller, Leandra Earl, and Eliza Enman-McDaniel — embark on an eleven-track emotional roller coaster, plunging headfirst into exploring not only the highs and lows, but the chaotic messiness of love and loss. Punctuated with gritty guitar, energetic drums, and varying elements of both alt and punk rock, every song tells a different, holistic story, from the perspective of a different band member. Lead singer Jordan Miller, who al
