Del Water Gap‘s Full Circle Moment, live at London‘s Roundhouse

Del Water Gap returned to London’s Roundhouse on March 17th 2026 performing a sold-out headline show at the iconic North London venue – a full-circle moment after previously playing the venue with Girl In Red a few years ago. The American singer-songwriter, whose real name is Samuel Holden Jaffe, is currently on his "Chasing The Chimera" world tour, celebrating his latest album, released in November 2025.

He was supported by Unflirt, a singer-songwriter from West London, who had previously opened for Del Water Gap at his London show at HERE at Outernet in August 2025. She kicked off her set by walking on stage, kneeling down and letting out a loud scream, immediately drawing in the crowd’s attention. The second song of her set was called "Someday", which she said she wrote about a time when she felt jealous of someone. Unflirt, joined on stage by a drummer and guitarist, delivered a tight pop set that made her unique voice stand out.

Shortly after, Del Water Gap and his band took the stage. A large curtain was draped across the back of the stage, creating a mystical atmosphere. His set was electric, the singer full of energy as he commanded the room. During his set, he spoke about playing the Roundhouse in 2022 when he supported Girl In Red. He told the audience that after that show, the tour was cancelled, and he recalled leaving the stage wondering if he’d ever get to play a show like that again. That’s why returning to the Roundhouse now feels like a full-circle moment for the singer. Del Water Gap interacted constantly with the audience, pulling them into the show. At one point during his song "NFU (Not For You)", he handed a fan in the crowd a light clicker to control the stage lights. He went on to joke about the American work ethic, saying this was the part of the show where his lighting technician needed a break. During "Damn", he used an embroidery machine on stage, stitching while performing, then immediately gifting the finished piece to a fan in the crowd. His energy was undeniable throughout the night. He even joked about a past London show where he recalls climbing onto a railing and almost falling off. The American singer has recently played the Electric Ballroom in 2024 and HERE at Outernet in 2025. During the show, he also shouted out opening act Unflirt, telling the crowd she’s from London before calling out "She’s one of y’all. She’s a rockstar". The setlist included fan favorites alongside newer songs, drawing listeners deeper into his world while knowing exactly when to slow the atmosphere down, for example, during his performance of "High Tops", one of his first-ever songs from 2017. "This one came out a while ago" he said before playing it. The set also featured a cover of "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls, which had the entire audience singing along with him. Even when playing guitar, Del Water Gap never stood still; he performed with relentless energy for the fans in attendance. In return, his fans were jumping with him and singing along, completely immersed in the show from the front to the very back of the venue.

Del Water Gap’s triumphant return to the Roundhouse felt like both a celebration and a promise – a full-circle moment that hints at even bigger stages to come. As the show ended and the crowd reluctantly spilled out into the cold Camden night, it was hard to shake the sense that this show might have marked a new chapter for Del Water Gap. What began as a full-circle return to London’s Roundhouse ended as something bigger – a night where an artist and audience grew even closer, and it felt like no one was quite ready to say goodbye at the end of the night.
