Lido Festival’s first edition in London has rooted itself as a daring and fun new edition to the UK summer festival landscape. Giving headlining artists the space, opportunity, and time to curate cohesive and genre-aligned lineups shows that when the status quo is shaken up, magic happens - until next year!

Miley Cyrus’ newest studio album, Something Beautiful, released this past May, marks an evolution in the singer’s artistry, blending sonic experimentation with personal lyricism. Fresh on the scene, Huddersfield based indie quartet Long Island are set to make huge waves this summer playing numerous festivals including Truck, Y Not & Isle of Wight and have released their new single “sweet song” just in time for you to be obsessed for when summer comes around.

After the storm comes a calm, or rather, after a dreary winter, comes festival season. Summer festivals have officially kicked off this month, and there's a new kid on the block – LIDO Festival. Held in Victoria Park, the 2-weekend festival is already making waves in the UK music festival scene.

On May 21st, Irish indie-pop quartet Modernlove. turned Frankfurt’s tiny venue Nachtleben into a sweaty, vibrant celebration of music and energy. Frankfurt showed up, sang loud, and danced harder and Modernlove. gave it right back.
